-5K will loop around the town of Rossville once
-10K will do a second loop
-All runners will begin together just after 12 pm
$20 to participate in the 5K
$30 to participate in the 10K
Where
The race will start at the Rossville Grade School and will loop around Rossville.
Sign up at the starting line by 11:55 or sign up in advance on this site.
Why
Lance Lenard was a track and field coach from Rossville, KS. Lance was the head coach of the Northeast Kansas Track Club for 18 years before he passed away. An organization he built that provided track and field athletes an outlet outside of their school-organized program to perfect their skills. He had been the Sunflower State Games Meet Director many times and volunteered with the Kansas Senior Track and Field Olympics. He truly cared about the thousands of athletes he coached and never expected anything but hard work in return. This run is one way of remembering and honoring his life.
